How to Enter:

No purchase necessary. This virtual trivia contest begins on 9/9/24 following the METRO traffic report on radio stations B-105, 97.3, Q-102, and 94.9 and Metro’s social media each weekday morning and ends on 9/20/24 at 11:59 PM Central Time. You can enter this contest by the following means: Online entry: Enter by visiting https://ridingmetro.com/ during the Entry Period by guessing the landmark/destination in Cincinnati based on the clue. Only one entry per person.

Eligibility:

This contest is open only to legal residents of the United States, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Online entrants must have Internet access as of Monday, September 9, 2024. Employees and their immediate families, including household members, of SORTA/METRO, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible.

Conditions of Entry:

If you are entering online, you must be the registered subscriber of the e-mail account by which the entry is made prior to Monday, September 9, 2024. Incomplete entries will not be accepted. All entries become the property of SORTA/METRO. If selected, participants are required to participate in the Live Trivia event: Where in Hamilton County does Metro go? on Thursday, September 26, 2024, on Fountain Square from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Must be present on Fountain Square to receive prizes. If confirmed participant has not checked in by 11:15 a.m. a random audience member can be selected to participate in the live event. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements. By entering this contest, you consent to SORTA/METRO’s use of your name and image for promotional purposes, including online announcements, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Neither SORTA/METRO, nor its respective advertising and promotion agencies, or any telephone network or service providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any Web site or online service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, misdirected, illegible or postage due entries.

Prize:

Grand Prize: There will be Nine (9) semi-finalists randomly selected from the Metro Virtual Trivia entries. Each semi-finalist will receive one (1) $100 gift card (Kroger or Amazon) along with one (1) monthly Metro pass (retail value $250). Must be present on 9/26 at Fountain Square at 11am to obtain prize. Three (3) finalists will be selected after three rounds of trivia during the live event and awarded 2 UC Bearcat tickets (retail value $150). The Grand Prize will be awarded on Thursday, September 26th to the winner (individual who has the most points) of the live “Where in Hamilton County Does Metro Go” Trivia Event. The grand prize includes One (1) annual Metro pass, two (2) Cincinnati Bengals tickets, two (2) Cincinnati Reds tickets, Cincinnati Museum Center family membership, (approximate retail value $3,000). Alternates will receive one (1) $50 gift card and one (1) $25 skyline gift card. The odds of winning depend upon participation in the Live Trivia Event: Where in Hamilton County does Metro go? On Thursday, September 26, 2024 on Fountain Square at 11:00 a.m. Any federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. No prize substitution, cash substitution, or assignment or transfer of prizes is permitted, except by SORTA/METRO for reason of unavailability in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. All prizes will be awarded.

Drawing:

The Metro Virtual Trivia winners will be decided on Monday, September 23, 2024 by a random drawing from all eligible entries received by the end of the Entry Period. The random drawing shall be conducted by an independent judge whose decisions are final with respect to all aspects of the contest. The winners will be notified by email, and telephone if provided. The winners will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility/publicity and liability release at the Live Trivia event on Thursday, 9/26/24 as a condition of awarding the prize. If prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the winner will be disqualified and an alternative winner will be selected. SORTA/METRO is not responsible for technical, telephone, hardware, or software malfunction, lost, interrupted, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications, including the inaccurate or incorrect capture of online entry information, or any other errors of any kind, however caused, that may occur in the processing of the entries in this contest. If, in SORTA/METRO opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with or alteration of any portion of the contest, or if any technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the contest, SORTA/METRO reserves the right to terminate the contest or void any or all electronic entries. Persons entering via the web (Internet) must provide a valid email address. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to notify the contest judges in writing if the entrant changes his/her email address after entering the contest. (To do so write to: Metro Virtual Trivia c/o AFFIRM Agency, N28W23050 Roundy Drive, Suite 100, Pewaukee, WI 53072) In case of dispute as to the identity of a winner who entered online, such entry will be declared made by the registered user of the email account, and if a prize is won, and such registered user is a valid entrant, the prize will be awarded to such registered user. Any attempt to deliberately damage the content or operation of this contest is unlawful and subject to legal action by SORTA/METRO or its agents.

General:

The sponsor of this contest is SORTA/METRO. This contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws. Void where prohibited by law. The winner(s) agree(s) that SORTA/METRO, its affiliates and their agencies and employees shall not be liable for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from participating in this contest or from the acceptance or use of any prize awarded. SORTA/METRO reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of any winner. U.S. law governs this contest.

Requests received more than sixty (60) days after the completion of the entry period will not be honored.
